Anna Mazek
I specialize in textured pieces, using a variety of techniques and mixed media. These are applied to add an extra dimension to my work, allowing me to explore each subject with an individual approach. The majority of my work is based on memory and recalled feeling, to capture the emotion of the experience.
Originally from London, I grew up within a multi cultural society that greatly influenced my approach. I trained at St Martin's Art College, London, where this approach was consolidated with new techniques and methods. Circumstances led to a change in career which brought me to Devon; where I still reside, and gain most of my inspiration from the beautiful surroundings.
My studio is based at The Rougemont Castle, in Exeter, as part of the Artspace project. Here are the links:
